Dark Red Hair Dye

Those that choose dark red hair dye want all of the benefits that come with red but none of the extreme brashness and attention that bright red hair dyes (Cherry, strawberry, fire, hot) elicits. As such, dark red hair dye is probably the most commonly used shade of red in the world.

It is also the most common red shade sold by popular manufacturers such as Loreal, Garnier and Clairol. So the first order of business is getting yourself a dark red hair dye from a reputable brand.

Some great brands to choose to choose from include Loreal Feria and Clairol. For best results, it is recommended to undergo a deep conditioning three to four days before the actual hair colouring.

To strengthen your hair, use baking soda mixed with vinegar to remove oil. Once the few days have passed and you are ready to colour, dampen the surface of your hair. Do not soak it, just ensure the surface is wet.

From here on end, apply the dark red hair dye yourself or ask a friend or relative to help you out. Ensure that the dye is equally distributed. Once applied, you want to ensure that the cuticles properly absorb the hair colour.

To help this process, you can use heat. Put on a shower cap and use a hair dryer (Low heat) on your head for about ten minutes. Once done, rinse off, dry and enjoy your new hair colour!
